About OddRodney
From a very young age, Rodney has been inspired to design and create three dimensional objects with his hands. He has focused on art throughout his education, learning about all types of media. He acquired his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Arizona State University, and he began his career producing large scale commercial sculptures.
Rodney currentlymakes his living as Artist / Fabricatorbased in Tempe, Arizona. His influences include 50's and 60's pop culture, "B" horror movies, "creatures", cartoons, tiki culture and hot rods. Utilizing clay, metal, wood, resin, fiberglass and anything else he can get his hands on, he thrives on the freedom to sculpt his own visions. He is also driven by the creative challenges of collaborating with other artists in order to bring their art to three dimensional life. Rodney aspires to challenge himself and continue to grow as an artist, and inspire others.
